“I’ve got a need to achieve …
…and a desire to inspire!!!”

At one point in my life, I was not the fit and fabulous Lea you see in the pictures on this page. At one point, I was over 180 lbs… but I didn’t even realize it!

Once I had this epiphany, I put down the fork and got my butt to the gym. I started slow by committing to a minimum of 20 min a day of cardio activity. Quickly, I worked up to 30 – 45 min per day as well as weight training.

I even got certified to teach step aerobics!

I had come a long way but still wasn’t satisfied. That’s when I saw my first Ms. Fitness competition on TV. They all seemed to be the epitome of health and fitness. I knew that someday I would have to compete. From then on, I worked out with varying degrees of intensity. However, I was always looking for local competition I could compete in.

Finally, in Sep 2005 I was able to do my very first competition with the American Bodybuilding Association. From then on, I was hooked on fitness, figure and bikini competitions. In 2010 I won my first International title as Ms Fitness America, Bikini Classic champion!

Along the way I met many inspirational people. I call them my “angels”. The people that seemed to appear out of nowhere to help me on my journey of self improvement.

Friends, family, bodybuilders, chefs, and healthy eaters all appeared just at the right time to help me. One of them was a friend that was in training to become a life coach. I had no idea what that meant at the time… but he practice all of his skills on me.

These techniques were AMAZING!

He taught me how to shift my perception of events and cause me to think and act on my decisions in a motivated, energetic and passionate way! And that’s when I knew that I needed this training too. Since then, I have been on a path of learning and growth studying with many mentors and coaches including Tony Robbins, Dr. Brad Nelson, and more!

I’m enjoying my journey of achieving my dreams while also helping my friends and family achieve their health and fitness goals. I’m honored and humbled to have so many wonderful people in my life… and am grateful that I get to serve so many people everyday.

I enjoy learning new skills, traveling the country in my RV, doing community service, oil painting, hiking, traveling the world, playing with my adorable pooches, going to the movies, visiting farmer’s markets and growing wheatgrass and sprouts.

Everyday I strive to achieve my best… whether I am in the gym, in service to my community, or helping others learn and grow. I would like to encourage others to do the same. Being THE best isn’t as important as being YOUR best. The only person stopping you from personal greatness and achieving your dreams… is YOU!!
